About Nabana no Sato

One of the largest flower theme parks in Japan, located in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture, in the Kinki and Tokai area. Together with the Tokai region’s largest amusement park, Nagashima Spa Land; the hot spring theme park Yuami no Shima; the resort hotels Hotel Hanamizuki, Garden Hotel Olive, and Hotel Nagashima; the outlet mall Mitsui Outlet Park Jazz Dream Nagashima; and the golf course Nagashima Country Club, these facilities together form the large-scale resort complex known as Nagashima Resort.

Theme Park with Hot Springs and Observatory

Within the grounds, visitors will find the Flower Area, where seasonal plants can be enjoyed throughout the year, the hot spring facility Sato no Yu, as well as a variety of restaurants and shops.

Flower Area

Boasting one of the largest areas in Japan, you can see various flowers each season in the Flower Plaza, enjoy a panoramic view from the Observatory and visit the Begonia Garden with about 5,000 pots of bulbous begonias in an area of about 9,000㎡, and the Rose Garden with nearly 900 varieties of new and old roses, delighting visitors' eyes. Among them, the Begonia Garden is a popular spot for taking photogenic photos.

Island Fuji

This is an attraction Flying Island that was relocated from Nagashima Spa Land. It is Japan's only mobile observatory, where you can enjoy the night views of Nabana no Sato, as well as Nagoya, Ise Bay, Kuwana, and the surrounding areas.

Day-trip Hot Spring, Sato no Yu

Equipped with open-air baths, indoor baths, jacuzzis, waterfall baths, and saunas, it is a bathing facility that can be used without bringing anything. The hot spring water is a bicarbonate spring, known for its benefits in relieving muscle pain, aiding chronic digestive issues, improving sensitivity to cold, and promoting recovery from fatigue. The spacious open-air baths are particularly popular with visitors.

Restaurants and Shops

Inside the village, there are various restaurants offering Japanese, Western, Chinese, and Italian cuisines. There are also shops where you can enjoy local beer and cafes where you can relax while viewing the flowers, allowing for various settings according to your mood.

Popular Illuminations from Winter to Spring

Although it is a flower theme park, the period when the most visitors come is during the illumination event held from mid-November to late May.

This event, which started in 2004, has been presenting various themes each year with elaborate productions. Dynamic and fantastic scenes created by LED bulbs, such as tunnels of light and views of Mt. Fuji and the sea.
