About Azabudai Hills

Azabudai Hills is a large-scale mixed-use commercial complex located in Azabudai 1-chome, Toranomon 5-chome, and Roppongi 3-chome in Minato City, Tokyo.

Covering an expansive area of approximately 8.1 hectares (equivalent to about 11 soccer fields), its core building, the Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower, stands 330 meters tall. As of January 2026, it is the tallest skyscraper in Japan.

Tower Plaza with office district and medical facilities

Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower houses commercial facilities, medical facilities, an international school, offices, and residences, serving as the core of Azabudai Hills.

Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Exhibition Room

This exhibition room is located on the 5th floor of Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower. The permanent exhibition displays treaty documents from the late Edo period to the 21st century, and various themed exhibitions are held as special exhibitions.

Public Art

Various art works are displayed in the office lobby and central plaza of Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower. Visitors can view works by artists with high international acclaim at close range.

The British School in Tokyo

This is an international school attended by more than 1,100 students from over 65 countries. At the Azabudai Hills campus, children aged 3 to 8 study.

Azabudai Hills Residence A & B connected to Roppongi-itchome Station

Residence A has commercial facilities in the basement area, the hotel "Janu Tokyo" on floors 1 to 13, and residences from floors 14 to 54. The hotel includes one of the largest spas in Japan, as well as restaurants, cafés, and bars.

Residence B is a super high-rise condominium with 64 floors above ground, 5 floors below ground, a height of 262.82 meters, and a total of approximately 970 units. Shared facilities include lounges, a theater room, and more, allowing residents to enjoy a comfortable and secure lifestyle.

Although the buildings themselves consist of Azabudai Hills Residence A & B, when including Azabudai Hills Garden Plaza Residence in Garden Plaza and Aman Residence Tokyo in Mori JP Tower, they are collectively referred to as "Azabudai Hills Residence".

Garden Plaza area directly connected to Kamiyacho Station

This area consists of Garden Plaza A/B/D, which feature a station-front plaza, galleries, shops, offices, and residences, and Garden Plaza C, which includes markets and more. Many galleries here promote culture under the theme of "the entire city as a museum".

Mori Building Digital Art Museum: Epson teamLab Borderless

The "museum without a map," jointly created by Mori Building and teamLab, has relocated from Odaiba and opened in Azabudai Hills. More than 70 works, including new pieces, are exhibited, and it has gained popularity as an immersive art experience.

Azabudai Hills Gallery

This gallery disseminates culture and art across a wide range of genres. In addition to contemporary art and craft works, it also hosts exhibitions featuring Japanese culture such as anime, manga, and games.

Pace Gallery

This is the Japan base of "Pace," an international art gallery representing contemporary artists and leading creators of the 20th and 21st centuries. It holds original exhibitions that introduce works by globally active artists to Japan.

Gallery & Restaurant Butaiura

This establishment is themed around art + food. It is a gallery restaurant where visitors can enjoy wine and course meals after viewing the exhibitions.

Shueisha Manga-Art Heritage

This is the first permanent gallery by Shueisha, known for publications such as Weekly Shonen Jump. Utilizing letterpress printing techniques, it exhibits and sells art prints supervised by manga artists and the publisher.

Central Plaza

About one-third of the area, which is equivalent to 1.7 times the size of Tokyo Dome, is greened, and a lawn plaza is provided at the center. Next to the Central Plaza, there is also an orchard where 11 types of fruit are cultivated.

Azabudai Hills Arena

This event space is adjacent to the Central Plaza. It can accommodate a wide variety of events, with vehicle loading and unloading possible.
