  A high-speed menace that haunts a tunnel, and the one who cursed Okarun. She is a modern yōkai modeled on an urban legend about an old woman who curses anyone who loses a footrace against her, and she boasts astonishing speed.

  Momo's grandmother. A self-described fake medium whose skills are anything but, she specializes in protective barriers and is a dependable presence in any uproar involving the supernatural.

  Momo's childhood friend, nickname is "Jiji". Convinced that a spirit that appeared in his home put his parents in the hospital, he himself was losing sleep to nightmares every night. He has a crush on Momo.

  A beautiful girl in her own estimation and everyone else's, she has it in for Momo. A chance event awakens a minor psychic ability in her, and she goes on to join the supernatural fray.
