Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Akiba

Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Akiba is a large electronics store in front of Akihabara Station. It is part of the Yodobashi-Akiba complex, which opened in September 2005, and the store's sales floors occupy floors one through six, with floors of specialty shops and restaurants above.

The store is a one-minute walk from Akihabara Station, on the Showa-dori Exit side of the JR station. The building is directly connected to the five lines that serve Akihabara Station (the JR Yamanote Line, the JR Sobu Line, the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line, the Tsukuba Express, and the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line).

Floor Layout

On the sales floors, the first floor carries smartphones and computers, the third floor cameras, and the fifth floor home appliances. Games and toys are on the sixth floor (from the official floor guide as of August 2026).

The seventh floor is a specialty shop floor with tenants such as UNIQLO and DAISO, and the eighth floor is a restaurant floor. A golf practice range and a batting center are on the ninth floor as well. Restaurants and a currency exchange counter occupy the first basement floor.

Capsule Toys on the Sixth and First Floors

The official information page lists four locations for capsule toys (as of August 2026). They are the hobby corner and the toy corner on the sixth floor, and the second entrance and the public walkway on the first floor.

One count from October 2025 puts the total at more than 800 machines.

Opening Hours

The sales floors are open from 9:30 to 22:00 every day of the year. The restaurant floor on the eighth floor is open from 11:00 to 23:00 (both from the official facility information as of August 2026).
