namco Akihabara

Run by Bandai Namco Amusement, namco Akihabara is an entertainment complex. At its opening on March 1, 2023, it was announced as Bandai Namco Amusement's first Akihabara location in the company's 68 years of running amusement facilities. Crane games, Gashapon capsule toy machines, and official shops fill six floors, from the first basement floor up to the fifth.

The store is in the Ichigo Akihabara Ekimae Building, just outside the Electric Town Exit of JR Akihabara Station. A large LED screen on the exterior wall serves as a landmark.

Floor Layout

The opening announcement described the first and second floors as crane game floors carrying Namco-exclusive prizes as well as ones from Banpresto. The first basement floor was described as a floor for competitive games in the Mobile Suit Gundam series, and the third floor as one for music games such as Taiko no Tatsujin.

Official retail shops are here too, with the Ichiban Kuji Official Shop Akihabara on the first floor and the BANDAI CARD GAMES official shop DECKS STADIUM on the fifth.

The Fourth Floor: A Large Gashapon Sales Floor

The whole fourth floor is a Gashapon sales floor. The GASHAPON BANDAI OFFICIAL SHOP Akihabara Store and the GASHAPON Department Store Akihabara Store are combined here into one integrated store.

The opening press release positioned it as an official, directly run store stocking Bandai's new capsule toys. The official website lets you search stock store by store.

Nighttime Entry Restrictions

Age restrictions apply at night. Visitors under 16 cannot enter after 18:00 without a parent or guardian, and even with one, they can stay only until 22:00. No one under 18 can enter after 22:00.
