About MAID MADE Akihabara Electric Town-exit Store
MAID√MADE (Meido Meido) is a maid café right by Akihabara Station, with a playful “future × magic” concept: in an AI-controlled future where people have begun to lose their emotions, maid robots called “Magiroids” travel back from the future to serve in the present and gather emotions to save humanity. Every detail of the space is built around that world, and there's plenty to enjoy — from classic maid-café fun to experiences you'll only find here.
It's a 3-minute walk from Akihabara Station, on the 10th floor of a building facing Akihabara Ekimae-minami-dori (look for the “Karaoke-kan” sign on the ground floor). There's also a sister store in Ōsu, Nagoya. Open daily 12:00–22:00 (last order 21:30), year-round, with a high Google Maps rating — so even first-time maid-café guests can relax and enjoy.
A meticulously designed near-future × magic space
The interior is a near-future world designed down to the last detail: colorful semi-transparent chairs, wall graphics, neon signs, and a light-blue signboard set in a large picture frame that doubles as the live stage. Solo counter seats are available, so it's easy to drop in on your own.
The fun of “raising” your Magiroid
The ones serving you are “Magiroids” — maid robots from the future. By pouring in the “emotion points” (EP) you earn from your orders, you can upgrade your Magiroid, much like raising a character in a mobile game. Their stats are published on the official site, so you can follow your oshi Magiroid's growth. The uniforms are originals created for MAID√MADE by LAM, the popular illustrator known for the character designs of the anime takt op.Destiny.
Photogenic menu and live shows (photos OK)
The food includes hearty, filling options — omurice, hamburg steak, curry — with the signature “Oekaki White Omurice” and its rich white sauce a standout. Desserts such as the “Spacetime Transfer Parfait,” “Familiar Pancakes,” and “Grimoire Cake” match the world and are made for photos, and they're not too sweet. Best of all, you're free to photograph the interior and your food.
When your order arrives, the Magiroids cast a “make-it-delicious spell,” which keeps the conversation flowing. Order certain items and a Magiroid takes the stage for a live performance (only the person who ordered can request the song), and the room lights up. There are cheki (instant photos) and original cheki albums too, and the “Tutorial Set,” pairing food or drink with a cheki, is perfect for first-timers.
Pricing and how to enjoy it
Pricing is a “login fee” (880 yen per hour) plus a one-drink order, and with just a drink you can enjoy it from around 2,000 yen. Popular with overseas tourists, it's a genuine hub for maid-café culture. First-timers get a friendly walkthrough from the Magiroids, so don't hesitate to stop by.
