Kabukicho

Kabukichō is a nightlife district in the Kantō region’s capital, Tokyo—specifically in Shinjuku City (Ward). It sits just north of JR Shinjuku Station’s East Exit, covering the neighborhoods of Kabukichō 1- and 2-chōme.

The area is roughly bounded by Yasukuni-dori (south), Meiji-dori (east), the JR tracks near Shinjuku Station (west), and Shokuan-dori (north). Key nearby stations are JR Shinjuku (about 5–10 minutes on foot), Seibu-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-sanchōme (Tokyo Metro), and Higashi-Shinjuku (Tokyo Metro/Toei).
