About Decks Tokyo Beach

Opened in July 1996, DECKS Tokyo Beach was the first large-scale commercial facility built in the Daiba area following the launch of the "Yurikamome" line, which connects central Tokyo to the Odaiba district. Together with the adjacent "AQUA CiTY ODAIBA," it remains one of the premier shopping and entertainment spots in the area.

Design Inspired by Its Seaside Location

The facility is designed with a ship motif, featuring open decks that resemble a ship's bridge and various decorations throughout the building that evoke the feeling of being on a vessel.

Convenient Selection and Entertainment Facilities

DECKS Tokyo Beach houses approximately 90 specialty stores ranging from apparel and interior goods to restaurants, as well as numerous indoor entertainment facilities. Visitors can enjoy themselves here all day long. The facility provides support in English, Chinese, and Korean, and some stores even allow visitors to bring their pets. It is a welcoming environment for families, couples, and groups of friends alike.

Major Entertainment Facilities

Daiba 1-chome Shotengai

This area recreates the atmosphere of a Tokyo downtown district from the 1950s (Showa 30s). It features shops selling retro goods, traditional "dagashi" sweets, Japanese crafts, and Tokyo souvenirs. You can experience "good old Japan" through shops specializing in custom embroidery and wooden charms, or visit the Odaiba Retro Museum to experience Showa-era culture. The area also hosts the Tokyo Trick Art Museum, where you can enjoy Edo-themed Japanese trick art, and the Daiba Ghost School, a genuine haunted house guaranteed to make you scream.

Odaiba Takoyaki Museum

This is an experience-based food theme park bringing together famous and popular shops specializing in Takoyaki, the soul food of Osaka. Visitors can easily enjoy authentic Takoyaki with tasting sets to compare different shops or "Tako-nomi" snack sets designed to be enjoyed with alcohol.

Casino Venus

This facility allows you to enjoy over 10 types of casino games, including Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, and Poker, while learning the rules and how to play. They offer a "Lecture Course" with 40 minutes of unlimited chips for beginners and a "Standard Course" for free play, allowing visitors to enjoy the experience regardless of their skill level.

LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Tokyo

An indoor attraction decorated with over 3 million LEGO® bricks. It features a variety of hands-on attractions designed to stimulate the imagination, including a playground for small children. It is a facility the whole family can enjoy.

Madame Tussauds Tokyo

A branch of the world-famous wax museum founded by French wax sculptor Madame Tussaud. More than 60 life-sized figures of world stars, actors, singers, and historical figures are on display, and visitors are encouraged to take commemorative photos with them.

Animal Forest Animil

An all-weather indoor petting zoo. In a first for Japan, the facility utilizes a day/night shift system for the animals, allowing visitors to see them behaving naturally and energetically according to their original biological rhythms. The "cast" includes familiar animals like dogs, cats, rabbits, and parakeets, as well as exotic animals like capybaras, owls, snakes, and tamandua (anteaters).

Toy Planet (Toy Reuse Shop)

This toy reuse shop—the first of its kind in Tokyo—also houses "Tokusatsu Heroes Tokyo," one of Japan’s largest specialty stores for special effects (tokusatsu) toys. The reuse shop offers a carefully selected range of cleaned items, from popular character goods like Pokémon and Sylvanian Families to educational toys and video games.

Brave Point

A facility where you can easily experience survival games (airsoft). Participation is possible even without bringing any equipment. The experience pack includes a beginner’s briefing and a full set of equipment, including an air gun, goggles, and gloves, making it safe for first-timers.

Tokyo Joypolis

One of Japan’s largest indoor theme parks, featuring over 20 different attractions. It offers exciting entertainment based on the concept of "DigitaReal," a fusion of "Digital" and "Real."
