Things to Do in and Around Toyosu
Toyosu is a redeveloped area facing Tokyo Bay, featuring one of the world's largest and most attractive markets and futuristic commercial facilities. It is gaining attention as a new tourist spot in Tokyo City, with facilities where you can enjoy shopping and dining. From the waterfront area, you can also enjoy a panoramic view of Tokyo City's urban landscape, making it an ideal place for photography. In recent years, cultural facilities and event spaces have increased, making it an area where you can enjoy a variety of activities.
Where is Toyosu?
Toyosu is an area located in Koto City, Tokyo, situated on reclaimed land facing Tokyo Bay. It was once a site with factories, but has been redeveloped into a new town with commercial facilities, residences, and offices.
To the north, it is adjacent to the Tsukishima and Kachidoki districts, to the west is Harumi, and to the east it continues towards Ariake and Odaiba. It is located east of the center of Tokyo, close to Ginza and Nihonbashi. It occupies a corner of the Tokyo Bay area and is a symbolic location of Tokyo's new urban development. It is conveniently connected to the city center by public transportation such as the Yurikamome and Yurakucho Line.
Getting Around
The nearest station to Toyosu is "Toyosu Station" on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line and the Yurikamome Line. Access from the city center is about 10 minutes from Ginza and about 20 minutes from Shinjuku on the Yurakucho Line. If you use the Yurikamome, it takes about 20 minutes from Shimbashi, and you can also move directly towards Odaiba.
The area around the station has been redeveloped, and large commercial facilities and the Toyosu Market are within walking distance from the station. The Toei Bus running on Harumi Street is also convenient and can be used for access to Ginza and Tsukishima. Water buses are also in operation, and you can enjoy them as a means of transportation to Asakusa and Hinode Pier.

Toyosu Market
Opened in 2018, this wholesale market is located in Koto City, Tokyo. It handles the largest volume of marine products in Japan, and the "first auction" held at the beginning of the year has become a New Year's tradition.

Each has dining areas. There are sushi and seafood bowl shops, as well as tempura, soba, and coffee shops. The buildings are connected by pedestrian decks.
Foot Bath Garden
On the 8th floor, there is a foot bath using hot water transported daily from the hot springs of Hakone and Yugawara. It is open to the public and can be used for free. Towels to wipe your feet are sold at the entrance of the foot bath, so you can use it empty-handed.
Manyo Club
A lodging facility with a day-use hot spring. The admission fee for the day-use hot spring includes indoor wear, amenities, and the rental of bath towels and face towels, allowing you to use it empty-handed. Accommodations include Western-style rooms, Japanese-style rooms, and special rooms with hot springs. You can choose according to the number of people and the scene. Breakfast is a buffet where you can enjoy fresh seafood and seasonal ingredients.
